Ingredient : Mala BBQ Skewers
Ingredients for Mala BBQ Sauce
Chili sauce: 1/4 cup
Tomato ketchup: 1/2 cup
Granulated sugar: 2 tbsp
Salt: 1 tsp
Five-spice powder: 1 tsp
Oregano: 1 tbsp
Mala chili powder: 4 tbsp
Minced onion: 50 g
Unsalted butter: 2 tbsp
Water: 300 ml
Ingredients for Meat Marinade
Meat of your choice (chicken, pork, or beef): 1 kg
Evaporated milk: 1/4 cup
Pineapple (finely chopped): 20 g
Oyster sauce: 1 tbsp
Seasoning sauce: 1 tbsp
Granulated sugar: 1 tsp
Ground pepper: 1/4 tsp
Side Ingredients (for skewers)
Green chili peppers, red chili peppers, bell peppers, onion, pineapple, cherry tomatoes
How To
How to : Mala BBQ Skewers
1. Prepare the Mala BBQ Sauce:
Combine all BBQ sauce ingredients in a mixing bowl. Stir well until smooth and set aside.
2. Marinate the Meat:
Mix the meat with all marinade ingredients in a large bowl. Let it rest for at least 1 hour to absorb the flavors.
3. Assemble the Skewers:
Skewer the marinated meat and side ingredients onto the oven’s BBQ skewers. Brush the Mala BBQ sauce generously over the skewers.
4. Grill in the Oven:
Attach the skewers to the rotating rod of the Sharp EO-70K electric oven. Select the rotating grill program, set the oven to top-bottom heat with convection, at 250°C, for 30 minutes.
Every 10 minutes, open the oven and brush more Mala BBQ sauce to keep the meat juicy and flavorful.
5. Serve and Enjoy:
Once done, arrange the skewers on a platter and serve hot with extra Mala BBQ sauce for dipping.
