Ingredients for the Porridge
Jasmine Rice: 1 cup
Seabass Fillet: 150g (cut into bite-sized pieces)
Squid: 100g (sliced into bite-sized pieces)
Scallops: 100g
White Shrimp: 5 pieces (peeled and deveined)
Shiitake Mushrooms: 5 pieces (soaked)
Ground White Pepper: 2 tsp
Light Soy Sauce: 1 tbsp
Seasoning Powder: ½ tbsp
Seasoning Sauce: ½ tbsp
Salt: ½ tsp
Pickled Mustard Greens: 1 tbsp
Celery (for garnish)
Fried Garlic (for garnish)
Ingredients for the Fermented Soy Bean Dipping Sauce
Fermented Soybean Paste: ½ cup
Lime Juice: ¼ cup
Vinegar: ¼ cup
Sugar: 1 tbsp
Red Bird’s Eye Chili (sliced): As desired
Garlic (finely chopped): As desired
Ginger (finely diced): As desired
Coriander Roots (finely chopped): As desired

How to : Imperial Seafood Porridge: A Regal Delight
1. Prepare the Porridge Base
Rinse the jasmine rice thoroughly and drain well.
Add the rice to the inner pot of the Sharp KS-COM18 rice cooker.
Fill with water according to the “PORRIDGE” scale (Level 1) inside the cooker.
Select the “PORRIDGE” program and let it cook for about 30 minutes.
2. Steam the Seafood
Place all seafood (seabass, squid, scallops, and shrimp) into the steaming tray.
Once the porridge is halfway cooked (30 minutes in), set the steaming tray inside the rice cooker. Close the lid and let it continue cooking.
3. Serve and Garnish
When the cooker switches to WARM mode, remove the steaming tray and stir the porridge gently.
Serve the porridge in bowls, topped with steamed seafood, fried garlic, and fresh celery.
Pair with the fermented soy bean dipping sauce for an extra kick of flavor.
